Prerequisites:
· The WorkCentre must have the latest firmware installed. You can download the firmware from the Xerox website.
· The device must be ConnectKey/EIP capable.
· The DocuShare server must be able to directly communicate with the multifunction device over a network connection.
Settings for the WorkCentre 56xx Series
Using The CentreWare Internet Services interface to the device, make sure the following settings are configured:
1. Enabled HTTP (SSL)
a. Click the Index link in the upper right hand corner.
b. Select the HTTP link. The HTTP Setup Page displays.
Note: Login page may display prompting you for username and password. If you do not know the system password, contact your administrator. The initial system username is admin and the password at machine install is 1111. If the administrator encounters a problem changing the password, or forgets the password, a service call must be placed.
c. Under the heading Secure HTTP (SSL) select Enabled. The Default HTTPS Port Number is 443.
d. Click the Apply button.
2. Configure Machine Digital Certificate
a. Click the Index link in the upper right hand corner of the page.
b. Select Machine Digital Certificate Management link. The Machine Digital Certificate Management page displays.
c. Click the Create New Certificate button.
d. Under the Create New Certificate heading, select Self Signed Certificate: Establish a Self Signed Certificate on this machine.
e. Click the Continue button.
f. Under the Self Signed Certificate heading fill out the Fields
g. Click the Apply button.
