Note: This applies to DocuShare 7.

Issue

When trying to add or update a Menu property in DocuShare 7 the following error is displayed.

Sorry. Your request could not be processed.

Error com.xerox.docushare.amber.error.RedirectionException with this message: null

Reason / Possible Cause

Internet Explorer has the DocuShare 7 site added to the Compatibility View Settings and DocuShare 7 does not support compatibility view.

Solution

Turn off Compatibility View in Internet Explorer.

Example for Internet Explorer (11):

1. From Internet Explorer.

2. Click Settings wheel and select Compatibility View Settings.

3. Remove the DocuShare URL from the list of websites you've added to Compatibility View field.
