Issue
When attempting to save a PDF to DocuShare using DSDrive the following error displays.
The document could not be saved. The disk you were saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full. Free some space on this disk and try again, or save to a different disk.
Note: This happens with secured PDFs. They will save to local hard drive or to mapped network drives but will not save using DS Drive. Other PDF files (unsecured) can be saved using DSDrive.
Solution
Disable Protected Mode at Startup option in Adobe Reader.
Examples of disabling protected mode at startup.
In Adobe 10.1.4:
In Adobe Reader, select Edit | Preferences. The Preferences window displays.
From the Categories list, select General.
Under Basic Tools, remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Enable protected mode at startup. A message will display indicating you need to manually restart the application in order for the changes to take effect.
Click Yes.
Click OK.
Close Adobe Reader.
Re-open Adobe Reader and then try saving the PDF again using DS Drive again.
In Adobe XI:
In Adobe Reader, select Edit | Preferences. The Preferences window displays.
From the Categories list, select Security (Enhanced).
Under Sandbox Protections, remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Enable Protected Mode at startup. A message will display indicating you need to manually restart the application in order for the changes to take effect.
Click Yes.
Click OK.
Close Adobe Reader.
Re-open Adobe Reader and then try saving the PDF again using DS Drive.
