A Content Rule is being automatically disabled because the option for "Maximum Runs" and/or "Maximum Run Period" has been exceeded.
This can happen to any content rule that is exceeding the "Maximum Run" value and/or the "Maximum Run Period" value. It will only disable the content rule that exceeds the value. For example, if a site has 100 Content Rules and only one is exceeding one or both of the maximum values then that one rule will be disabled. All others will remain working.
To prevent the rule from being disabled please follow the instructions below to change the "Maximum Runs" value and/or the "Maximum Run Period" value.
1. Log into DocuShare's Web interface as Admin
2. Go to Admin Home > Services and Components > Subscriptions
3. Increase the value in the "Maximum Runs" field (default is 10)
4. Increase the value in the "Maximum Run Period" field (default is 10 minutes)
NOTE: The "Maximum Runs" filed has a Range Limit of 1 to 65000 (type in field) and the "Maximum Run Period" has a max of 12 Hours (pull Down menu)
NOTE: It is important to set the "Maximum Runs" and "Maximum Run Period" to values that will not be exceeded by the workflows being done. For example, if you submit no more they 100 workflows at a time and the 100 workflows take 30 minutes to complete. You could set the "Maximum Runs" value to 125 and the "Maximum Run Period" value to 45.
NOTE: Once a Content Rule has been disabled it can not be enabled. The Content Rule will need to be deleted and recreated.
