Note: This applies to DocuShare 6.6.1 Only.
Issue
When any user tries to upload a document to DocuShare a white webpage is displayed with the error "The system cannot find the path specified"
No stack trace is listed and nothing shows in the logs.
Reason / Possible Case
The \temp and/or the \tmp is missing.
Solution
- Stop DocuShare
2. Recreate the {dshome}\temp and/or {dshome}\tmp directory.
Where {dshome} is replaced with the installation directory for DocuShare. The default installation path is C:\Xerox\Docushare. Depending on your installation environment the path may vary.
- Start DocuShare
4. Try uploading a document again.
Note: Investigate why the temp and/or tmp directory was removed. Please refer to the link below for suggested Virus Scanning settings for Servers running DocuShare.
Note: This issue does not occur in DocuShare 7, the tmp directory is recreated on startup if it is missing.
