Note: This applies to DocuShare 6.6.1 Only.
Issue
When any user tries to upload a document to DocuShare a white webpage is displayed with the error “The system cannot find the path specified The system cannot find the path specified†No stack trace is button is listed and nothing shows in the logs.
Reason / Possible Case
The \temp and/or the \tmp is missing.
Solution
1. Stop DocuShare.
2. Recreate the \temp and/or \tmp directory.
Where is replaced with the installation directory for DocuShare. The default installation path is C:\Xerox\Docushare. Depending on your installation environment the path may vary.
3. Start DocuShare
4. Try uploading a document again.
Note: Investigate why the temp and/or tmp directory was removed. Please refer to the link below for suggested Virus Scanning settings for Servers running DocuShare.
Note: This issue does not occur in DocuShare 7, the tmp directory is recreated on startup if it is missing.
