Changing Set Home Page Option Does Not Work

Note: This has been tested on DocuShare 6.6.1 Update 1.

Issue

Changing the home page applies but does not reflect the change to the DocuShare home page.

Symptom

When a user with admin rights attempts to change the Admin Home | Site Management | Site Configuration | Set Home Page option to either Classic DocuShare, My DocuShare, and Quick Search it does not take effect. The option displays like it has changes but the change is not applied.

Solution

1. Log into DocuShare as admin (User-2).

2. Click Admin Home | Site Management | Site Configuration. The Site Configuration Page displays.

3. Next to Set Home Page switch to another option.

Note: The available options are Classic DocuShare, My DocuShare and Quick Search.

4. Click the Apply button.

5. Next to Set Home Page switch the option back to the setting you would like.

6. Click the Apply button.
