Issue
Note: This error can happen on upgraded Federated sites or new installs of federated sites.
Users are not receiving email notification after upgrading to DocuShare 6.5.3 AND the following error is displayed in the \Logs\DSServer.stdOut log file.

Reason
This will happen if a DocuShare site receives old style events.
Solution
This issue is fixed in DocuShare 6.5.3 patch 3.
