Issue
· The dsworkflow.exe process is occupying 99% of the CPU resources.
· Failed to get “My Tasks” (no response, browser hung)
Reason / Possible Cause
The workflow engine takes up high CPU resources when there are multiple use access concurrently.
Caveat:
Avoid using Workflow and Document Routing for about 30 minutes after DocuShare server is started, in order to give it time to build the internal cache
Solution
Install DocuShare 6.6.1 Update 3. This update has a fix in it that implements caching feature to improve system performance and response time, while reducing the load on CPU resources.
