Information About Using Auto Login Feature With LDAP Users

For DocuShare 3.0.x, the Auto Login feature currently only works for users in the default DocuShare domain.

For DocuShare 3.1, you can override the default functionality of using the domain included in the REMOTE USER login parameter as the DocuShare domain. With this parameter set to Yes, the REMOTE USER domain will be thrown out and all remote users placed in the internal domain DocuShare.

  1. Login with the admin account and click on [Admin Home] from the DocuShare home page.
  2. Click on the [Site Management] link.
  3. Click on the [Site Configuration] link.
  4. Click on the [Yes] radio button for the Strip Remote User Domain option.
  5. Click on [Apply].
