Issue
After an upgrade or migration, when a user tries to add content to DocuShare the following error is displayed.
License Exception: Invalid License or No Licenses, or License Expired
Reason / Possible Cause
This error can happen if the site was not properly licensed after completing the upgrade procedure.
To verify the DocuShare Site is licensed and valid:
a. Log into DocuShare as admin.
b. Click Admin Home | Site Management | License. The Server License Management page will display.
c. Verify the License section is displaying your license string, that the effective dates are valid.
Note: If the License section is blank then no license has been applied.
d. If the license information displayed is:
· Unlicensed and Not Valid - Follow the solution steps listed below.
· Licensed and Valid - Contact DocuShare Technical Support at 1-800-835-9013 for further instructions on troubleshooting the issue.
Solution
1. Obtain a new license string.
