When a subscription event is triggered by an object deletion, a delayed subscription summary, such as Daily or Weekly, will not report that the object is deleted. The subscription cannot report the deletion because the subscription event is deleted along with the object and no longer exists to be displayed in a report that is generated at a later time.
If you want to be notified of the deletion, change the subscription period to Immediate.

To change the subscription period:
- Direct your web browser to the DocuShare server and login.
- Navigate to the collection or object you subscribed to.
- Click on the [Properties] icon. The Properties window for the collection or object will be displayed.
NOTE: Allow your mouse cursor to hover over an icon to display the icon name.
- Click on the [Subscription] tab.
- Locate the desired subscription from the list of current subscriptions.
- Click on the [Properties] icon next to the Subscription title. The Subscription's Properties window will be displayed.
- Select the [Properties] tab to edit the properties.
NOTE: DocuShare 3.1 has a Subscription Applies To: option. Set the option to [This container and immediate contents] to limit the scope of the subscription.
- Select [Immediate] for the Period property.
- Click [Apply] at the bottom of the window to save your changes.
