Issue
The repository usage report displays the wrong sizes and quota sizes after upgrading DocuShare.
Possible Cause\Reason
This can happen if the site has a large number of HTML renditions.
The problem is that the value that is displayed in the repository usage report after an upgrade is calculated based on the sum total of the file sizes of all of the files that comprise the rendition. If the site contained large PDFs that can convert to thousands of files to comprise one HTML rendition.
After an upgrade, each file in the Database table takes on the size value of the sum of the entire rendition. As a result, the repository usage report balloons, saying that there is more content than there really is (size is larger than the physical disk).
Example: The 2 MB PDF could create 10 files that are really xx KB in size (these are simple html files for the pages in the PDF) but the size recorded in the Database is the sum total of those simple html file each consisting of xx KB (one source page could be one or many html renditions depending on its content and images).
Rendition_1=5 kb
Rendition_2=15kb
Rendition_3= 5 kb
Rendition_4=38kb
Etc, etc.
5 +15+5+38+x+y+z= the sum total that gets added for each of the 10 renditions in the DB. So the DB would say Rendion_1 is instead of 5 kb, rendition_2 would say instead of 15kb, etc.
