Scan Job not showing up in DocuShare
Issue
A scanning device places a document into a shared folder, via SMB scanning, successfully. (It arrives at the destination folder) However, the scans are not being pulled into DocuShare even though DocuShare is set up to monitor the shared folder and to pick up files that are placed in it.

Issue
A scanning device places a document into a shared folder, via SMB scanning, successfully. (It arrives at the destination folder) However, the scans are not being pulled into DocuShare even though DocuShare is set up to monitor the shared folder and to pick up files that are placed in it.
NOTE: The DocuShare scan configuration default settings require that scans have an XST file with them in order for the scan to be pulled into DocuShare. If the XST file does not exist the scan job DocuShare will not pull the file onto the DocuShare server, instead the file will just sit in the shared folder.
Solution
NOTE: This solution is valid for DocuShare 6.x
Option 1: Enable the Job Log at the Work Centre Pro (WCP) machine
NOTE: This option is only available on Xerox Work Centre Pro (WCP) multifunction devices. Other vendors do not use XST files that DocuShare requires. Refer to Option 2 if you have a machine from another vendor.
Consult Work Centre Pro (WCP) documentation or support on how to enable the Job Log for your specific machine model.
Option 2: Disable XST File Checking in DocuShare
This solution should be used if you are using a non-Xerox scanning Device or if you do not have Job Log enabled on your Xerox Work Centre Pro (WCP) multifunction device.
NOTE: You must have administrative privileges in DocuShare to perform this solution.
1. Access DocuShare via your web browser, by typing the URL of your DocuShare Server in the address bar.
2. Log in to DocuShare as Admin (or an account with Admin privileges)
3. Click on the [Admin Home] link. The Administrative Menu will be displayed.
4. Click on [Services and Components] then click on [Scan]. The Scan page will be displayed.
5. Select [Yes] Button next to the Disable XST File Checking
6. Click [Apply] button to save your changes.
7. Try scanning again.
