Issue

When trying to add a document via the Web UI in DocuShare the following error is displayed.

Sorry but the following fields are required and must be completed before this transaction can be processed.

Reason / Possible Cause

The collection has not completed loading/displaying its contents. This needs to complete before you can select the add (object) option.

If the paging size is set too high (example display 200 or more objects per page) and/or the connection to DocuShare site is slow this can impact page load time and cause this issue.

Solutions

· Verify if the issue is just a connection speed issue to DocuShare. Example: Verify the page also loads slowly if connected via the local network to DocuShare.

· Wait for the page to complete loading then try adding a document.

· Lower the default paging size.
