From the DocuShare Server,
- Stop the DocuShare.
- Open a Command Prompt window.
- Change into the \bin directory. Where is replaced with the installation path for DocuShare. The default installation path is C:\Xerox\Docushare. The path may vary depending on your installation environment.
- Type dssetup and then press Enter.
- Change the value in the Tomcat server Port number [8005] by typing a new port number that is not in use on your server. For example 8006 (if this port is free). If you are not sure which ports are in use on the server contact DocuShare Technical Support at 1-800-835-9013 or from another command prompt window type netstat –anop tcp to list the ports in use on the server.
- Once you have changed the Tomcat server Port Number, press Enter to accept all the other values.
- Once the DocuShare command line configuration tool has successfully updated the values and you are returned to the command prompt.
- Start the DocuShare.
- Wait for DocuShare to complete it start up sequence and try accessing the web ui.
