The Properties Pane Does Not Display in the Browser

Note: This applies to DocuShare version 6.6.x.

Issue

When selecting a PDF to open in the browser, only the image loads. The expectation is that the view properties window will load, allowing the document properties to be edited.

Solution

Verify the quick search feature is listed under Admin Home | Site Management | License.

1. Log into DocuShare as admin.

2. Select Admin Home | Site Management | License. The Server License Management page displays.

3. Look for Quick Search option in the Services Enabled list.

Note: If Quick Search is not enabled, contact DocuShare Sales Representative, to discuss options that were purchased.
