Issue
In the appeared in column in the Trashcan objects appear in red and when they are restored they do not appear in DocuShare.
Reason / Possible Cause
The Parent Collection or Owner of these Object items has also been deleted.
Solution
Restore the Top level Collections that the Objects belong to first. The objects with links in Red should either turn blue or be restored with the Collection. When the object, previously in red is restored, it will be restored to the its Parent Collection.
If restoring the Objects deleted from a deleted User, the Objects will go to the Orphaned Content. Restoring the Objects to a Collection of choice can be done from the Orphaned Content in Admin Home.
Note: If there are too many Objects, an alternative would be to restore from backup. Restoring could be done before the user was deleted and delete the User but choose the option to Change Owner of all Objects to another User.
