TrueMatch / Finder / Copy Finder Support

TrueMatch / Finder / Copy Finder Support has been discontinued. If any of these options are currently enabled they must be disabled.

If TrueMatch / Finder /CopyFinder is not disabled it will cause Event blockages due to a buildup of events that are not consumed. It can also cause the Conversion Service to Crash.

To disable TrueMatch / Finder /Copy Finder:

1. Turn Off TrueMatch

a. Log into DocuShare as admin.

b. Click Admin Home | Services and Components | TrueMatch. The TrueMatch Service page displays.

Note: If TrueMatch is not displayed under Services and Components then the Finder Service is not running.

c. Select No to disable TrueMatch and click the Apply button.

2. Edit the Finder Section in the Monitor.xml file.

Warning: If this step is not completed, Finder will automatically start again each time DocuShare is restarted.

a. Stop DocuShare.

b. Open \config\Monitor.xml file in a text editor.

c. Find the following section

Example entry below is from a Monitor.xml file that has Finder Enabled:

d. Change the entries to false (see below in red)

e. Save the changes to the file.

f. Restart DocuShare.
