WeblogEntry Object Is Created Before Selecting Apply From the Comments Page

Issue

WeblogEntry object is created before selecting apply from the Comments page.

Reason / Possible Cause

When you click on the Comments icon for any documents for the first time, it will direct you to the Add Comments Page and automatically creates a WeblogEntry object before you even add a comment. If the object already has a WeblogEntry object created and you click on the Comments icon again, it will bring you to the Comments page where you can see existing comments and add new ones.

Solution

This is by design, the WeblogEntry object is created as soon as a user clicks on the Comments icon.
