Note: The options below are only applicable if when setting up your account connections under manage accounts you do not configure the account with a password. It must be left blank.
Lock when Inactive – This is initiated when you leave the application by either pressing the Home Button on the mobile device and/or closing the DS Mobile Client app running in the background.
Forget Password – Forgets the User password entered after the specified time either in DS Mobile app or after closing application for the specified time.
Options are as follows:
- After 1 minute
- After 2 minutes
- After 5 minutes
- After 10 minutes
- After 30 minutes
- After 1 hour
Scenario 1:
Forget Password = 1 minute
Lock when Inactive = ON
You will be prompted for a password after 1 minute of inactivity in the session. If you close the app and re-open in less than 1 minute you will be prompted for a password. (This is due to the Lock when Inactive setting being set to ON)
Scenario 2:
Forget Password = 1 minute
Lock when Inactive = OFF
You will be prompted for a password after 1 minute of inactivity in the session. If you close app and re-open in less than 1 minute you will NOT be prompted for a password.
Scenario 3:
Forget Password = OFF
Lock when Inactive = ON
If you close the app and re-open it, you will be prompted for a password. (This is the purpose of the Lock when Inactive feature when set to ON)
