Note: This applies to DocuShare 6.5.3, 6.6.1 and Legacy versions.
Issue
Customer states that after upgrading or a new installation of DocuShare, they can login with the DocuShare admin account; however, none of the DocuShare Users or LDAP Users can login.
The following message will be displayed after a user attempt to login.
Login:
Access to the site is restricted to administrators
Access to the registry is restricted to specific users
Account creation is restricted to administrators
Group creation is restricted to specific users
Solution
Verify that Site Access Authority is set to User or Guest instead of Administrator.
To set the Site Access Authority:
1. Login to DocuShare as admin.
2. Click Admin Home | Site Management | Access Policies. The Access Policies page displays.
3. Set the value for Site Access Authority to User or Guest depending on your installation requirements.
4. Click the Apply button.
