How To Use The stop_docushare Command

stop_docushare

The stop_docushare command serves the same function as the dsservice shutdown command – it stops the DocuShare service. The stop_docushare command is included as a convenience for the user.

Note: This applies to Windows Server Only

The stop_docushare command will not run if the DocuShare directory pathname contains more than 18 characters.

To display the status of the command, set Echo to Off. An indication that stop_docushare did not run is echoed at the beginning of the status, for example:

The input line is too long

The syntax of the command is incorrect.

If this occurs, use the dsservice shutdown command instead of the stop_docushare to stop the DocuShare service.
