Workaround
This workaround will cause ConnectKey to use the default value for the required custom date property.
1. Log into DocuShare as admin.
2. Click Admin Home | Services and Components | ConnectKey for DocuShare | Configure Button. The configure buttons page displays.
3. Click the + sign to navigate to the desired scan button and then click the View/Edit Settings icon (icon looks like a paper and a pencil). The Edit Scan Button Setting page displays.
4. Scroll down the page to the DocuShare Collection Document Settings section.
5. The required custom entry should be displayed.
6. Next to Default Value type “default†with the quotes.
7. In the Display Options drop down menu select Read-Only.
8. Make any other changes that are needed, then click the Apply button at the bottom of the page.
Note: This entry will use the default value when the custom properties was created in object properties of the document object. This will enable DocuShare Connectkey to use the default global properties.
Note: The feature “editable at scan time†for date custom properties is not supported at this time.
