To setup a a WorkCentre Pro 76xx for ConnectKey
Prerequisites:
· The WorkCentre must have the latest firmware installed. You can download the firmware from the Xerox website.
· The Device must be ConnectKey/EIP capable.
· The DocuShare server must be able to directly communicate with the multifunction device over a network connection.
Settings for the WorkCentre 7600 Series
Using the CentreWare Internet Services interface to the device, make sure the following settings are configured:
1. Enabled HTTP (SSL)
a. Click on the Index link in the upper right hand corner.
b. Select Extensible Service Setup link. The Extensible Service Setup Page displays.
NOTE: Login page may display prompting you for username and password. If you do not know the system password, contact your administrator. The initial system password at machine install is 1111. If the administrator encounters a problem with changing the password, or forgets the password, a service call must be placed.
c. Click the Settings… button next to Setup. The HTTP page displays.
d. In the configuration area under the Secure HTTP (SSL) select Enabled.
e. Click the Save button
2. Configure Machine Digital Certificate
a. Click on the index link in the upper right hand corner of the page.
b. Select Extensible Service Setup Link. The HTTP page displays.
c. Click the Configure Machine Digital Certificate link at the bottom of the page. (In a yellow box) The Machine Digital Certificate Management page displays.
d. Click the Create New Certificate button.
e. Under the Create New Certificate heading, select Self Signed Certificate.
f. Click the Continue button.
3. Configure Extensible Service Registration
a. Click on the index link in the upper right hand corner of the page.
b. Select Extensible Service Setup link.
c. Click the Settings.. button next to the Extensible Service Registration. The HTTP page displays.
d. Configure the following settings:
· Extensible Service Registration: Enabled
· Scan Template Management: Enabled
· Xerox Secure Access: Disabled
· Session Data: Enabled
· Scan Extension: Enabled
· Device Configuration: Enabled
· Authentication & Authorization Configuration: Disabled
e. Click the Save button.
