Note: This applies to DocuShare 6.6.1 and LifeCycle Manager Add-On 1.3.
To install Lifecycle Manager on DocuShare 6.6.1:
Prerequisite:
· Lifecycle Manager requires that DocuShare 6.6.1 Update 2 is applied or that you have a fresh install of DocuShare 6.6.1 R2.
Note: Any other updates or patches that are applicable may also be installed at this time.

· Backup DocuShare and the Database.
1. Obtain a new license key for LCM 1.3.

2. Apply the License String.

3. Download Lifecycle Manager 1.3.
Note: The downloaded LifeCycle Manger software must be located in a directory on the server.

4. Install LifeCycle Manager 1.3 Add-On.
a. Stop DocuShare.
b. In the Lifecycle manager software download, locate and double-click dsinstall.exe.
c. Select the language and click OK.
d. Select the installation location and click Next.
e. Select Install Lifecycle Manager.
f. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
g. After the installation is complete, start DocuShare.
Note: Once Lifecycle Manager is installed, if an administrator inadvertently deletes the Lifecycle Manager Policies link, it is recreated the next time DocuShare starts
