Check new and changed items every xx seconds is grayed out

Note: This applies to the DocuShare Windows Client

Issue

The “Check new and changed items every xx seconds†is grayed out in the DocuShare Client Settings under the Document tab.

Reason

This option is set at higher level

Solution

1. From Windows Explorer, select My DocuShare Places.

2. Click the Tools menu and select Folder Options…

Note: If the Tools menu is not displayed click the Tools Menu is Hidden in the DocuShare Client Settings solution link listed at the bottom of this page.

3. In the Folder Options window select the DocuShare tab.

4. Place a check mark in the checkbox next to Auto-refresh collection listing*

5. In the Refresh box adjust the time amount accordingly (time is in seconds).

6. Click the OK button.

7. Once the time amount has been set, the “Check new….†option in the DSClient settings will automatically change\adjust accordingly.
