Reason
The DocuShare Outlook Client integrates with Outlook allowing the User to copy/move emails into DocuShare seamlessly. This, however, does not leave the emails in their original format. This behavior is by design.
When emails are dragged into a DocuShare Collection using the DocuShare Outlook Client, the emails are converted to a MailMessage Object in DocuShare. The original emails from Outlook, are normally a .msg file in Windows. If the email is saved as an .msg file, Outlook can open this file, since it understands this file extension. Once an email is converted to a MailMessage Object in DocuShare, Outlook can no longer open this natively, since it does not recognize this file and will open in the Browser.
Alternatively, a saved MSG file can be uploaded separately to DocuShare and Outlook would be able open this Documents since the msg MIME type is retained.
