Note: This applies to DocuShare Windows Client (DSClient) build 24 or lower with Office 2010.

Document Displays a Question Mark Icon in Web UI

Possible Cause\Reason

When uploading a MS Office 2010 document using DSClient Add-in (or Native File – Save As) the mime type is listed as application/vnd.ms-word.document.12 and shows a question mark icon in the Web-UI. Since there is no such mime type in the DS mime type table the icon becomes a question mark.

Solution

Fixed in DSClient build 26 or later.
