DSClient Search Results Are Different Then Web-UI

Note: This applies to All Version of DSClient with DocuShare 6.5.3 or lower

Issue

The DocuShare Windows Client (DSClient) Search Results Are Different Then Web-UI.

Possible Cause\Reason

This can happen if the “Use Incremental search mode if server supports it†option is turned on in the DSClient advanced search tab. There was a bug with DocuShare 6.5.3 (or lower) where DSFind would return fewer results if Incremental Search was selected.

Solution

This has been fixed in DocuShare 6.6.1.

Note: As a workaround, users can deselect the Incremental Search mode in DSClient advanced search tab.
