Issue
Error When Trying to Checkout a Document From Web-UI.
A DocuShare Client pop up window will display stating the following:
“Your document check out request cannot be processed at this time, because there is no server map defined for the DocuShare server.
Choose Yes to map the server. After the mapping is completed, the requested check out will resume. Choose No to let the web browser handle the request.â€
Possible Cause\Reason
This may happen if there is no mapped server in My DocuShare Places or the mapped server is not mapped to the same URL address as being used when accessing DocuShare from Web UI.
Solution
Verify that there is a mapped server in My DocuShare Places and that the mapped server is the same ast the address being used to access DocuShare from the Web-UI.
To verify the address of the mapped server:
1. Right-click on the mapped server from My DocuShare Places and select Properties. The DocuShare Server Properties window displays.
2. On the General tab, the address will be listed in the Name field. The address will be listed in the General tab.
Note: If DocuShare is configured to be accessed from an internal address as well as an external address, two server mappings may need to be setup if the user is using both addresses to access DocuShare from Web UI.
