Glyphscan Fails On 6400 Series
Note: Scan direct to DocuShare via SMB works fine.
Note: The IP Address of the WorkCentre Pro must be known and the HTTP option must be enabled on the WorkCentre Pro. If you do not know the WorkCentre’s IP Address or whether HTTP is enabled contact WorkCentre Pro Technical Support.
From a workstation,
1. Open an Internet Explorer browser window on the desktop.
2. Enter the IP Address for the WorkCentre in the Address field, and then press Enter on the keyboard. The CentreWare Internet Services window will be displayed.
3. Select Scan.
4. Under Display section on the right-hand side of the page, select the radio button labeled Templates.
5. Select the DocuShare scan template.
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page under Workflow Scanning Image Settings and click the Edit button. The Workflow Scanning Image Settings page displays.
7. Under Searchable XPS PDF & PDF/A Only select Disabled.
8. Click the Apply button.
9. Scroll down to the bottom of the page under Compression Capability section and click the Edit button.
10. Uncheck / Clear the checkbox labeled MRC Compression.
11. Click the Apply button.
12. Try scanning again.
