By default you cannot configure WorkCentre Pro scanner to prompt for a collection number to upload directly to DocuShare.
You can do the following with DocuShare:
- Scan directly into one specific Collection from a Work Centre Pro scanner or other compatible scanning device via SMB or FTP.
Note: All scans will be placed in the same one collection and will need to be manually moved to other Collections.
- Scan using the Cover Sheet feature (Glyphscan). This will allow you to route scanned documents to specific collections based on the location embedded in the cover sheet you place as the first page of your document.
Note: The scan cover sheet feature is only available in DocuShare 6. This feature was also only a CPX user feature prior to Patch 36..
Note: If you do not wish to use Scan Cover Sheets in DocuShare (Glyphscan) or it does not accommodate your scanning needs, you will require the use of middleware software such as SmartSend, ScanFlowStore, Smart Document Travel, etc. Please contact your local Xerox sales team for further information.
