Note: This applies to documents that are scanned to DocuShare using a scan cover page (glyphscan).
Issue
Documents that are scanned into DocuShare using scan cover pages (glyphscan) are displaying as TIFFs instead of PDFs. However, the PDF option is selected on the MFP.
Example of the message that will be displayed in the \logs\Conversion.stdOut of the DocuShare Server that ingests the glyphscan:

27 Mar 2015 08:59:48 - [Thread[Thread-76,5,main]] - This is the machine name DocuShareserver:80/docushare/glyphscan
Reason / Possible Cause
Verify that the image is not being sent to a second DocuShare Server that may be polling the same scan destination.
Note: This issue can also happen if you are using SmartSend to forward DocuShare glyph jobs.
Solution
If a second DocuShare server is polling the scan destination folder then disable or change the destination. Only one sever should be polling a scan destination.
Note: If a DocuShare server picks up a glyphscan that is intended for a different DocuShare server, it will forward it to the intended server (if reachable) as a TIFF file.
