Newly Created Scan Cover Sheet Displays an Old Date

Note: This issue applies to DocuShare 6.5.3 and 6.6.1.

Issue

When creating a new scan cover sheet, an old date/time appears on the sheet and the create date for the scan cover sheet appears with the old date/time.

Note: This only happens when a scan cover sheet is created from a Collection where a scan cover was already created.

Solution

This is normal behavior. When creating a coversheet DocuShare generates a rendition scan cover sheet for that object\collection. When a user generates the coversheet again DocuShare will simply get the rendition scan coversheet which will have the original create date.

Workaround

To generate a new coversheet with new create date:

1. Access the Properties of the Collection.

2. From the View Properties page, select Scan Cover Sheet link (on the left). The Scan Cover Sheet page displays.

3. Click the trashcan icon to delete the old rendition of the coversheet.

4. Create a new scan cover sheet.
