Selecting Save As Option Defaults to My DocuShare Places

Note: This applies to Windows 7 with Office 2007 and 2010.

Note: This applies to the DocuShare Windows Client.

Issue

In Windows 7 when you open any Microsoft Office Document select the Save As option, the default save as location is My DocuShare Places even if it is not a DocuShare file.

Solution

1. Disable ODMA by doing the following:

a. Right-click the DocuShare Icon

b. Select My Work Files.

c. Select Disable ODMA.

Note: A checkmark will be displayed next to Disable ODMA if the option is Disabled.
