Issue
The My DocuShare Places icon is not displayed in Windows Explorer left pane.
Cause
The My DocuShare Places icon is not displayed in the Windows Explorer left pane because DocuShare Windows Client 6.5.1 build 14 has its own DocuShare Folders pane.
Solution
To view the DocuShare Folders pane:
1. Enable Show All Folders (Required)
a. Open the Control Panel.
b. Click Appearance and Personalization. The Appearance and Personalization window displays.
c. Click Folder Options. The Folder Options window displays.
d. Under the Navigation pane heading place a check mark in the checkbox labeled Show all folders.
e. Click the OK button.
2. To view the DocuShare Folders Pane using Windows Explorer (Optional)
a. Open Windows Explorer.
b. Select the My DocuShare Places icon from the left pane.
c. Click on the grip rectangle bar from the Windows left pane to expand the DocuShare Folders pane.
d. Click the tack icon in the window so that it remains open the next time you access My DocuShare Places.
3. To view the DocuShare Folders Pane using My DocuShare Places (Optional)
a. Open My DocuShare Places.
b. Click on the grip rectangle bar from the Windows left pane to expand the DocuShare Folders pane.
c. Click the tack icon in the window so that it remains open the next time you open My DocuShare Places.
